Loading Rheostats (AC/DC)

Loading Rheostats are a test equipment, designed to meet the requirement of industry and test laboratories.
   
  STEAD make Loading Rheostats are being used in electrical / electronic industries & laboratories for load testing of switches, transformers, generators & other components.

The Loading Rheostats are rated for continuos use and they meet the relevant IS specifications and are widely in use.

Range : 1KW - 300KW
  SPECIAL FEATURES :
A Number of resistors are assembled in series and / or parallel combination to give the specified ratings. The resistors are wound with Copper-Nickel/Nickel-Chrome alloy wire, having low temperature co-efficient. Formers are vitreous enameled MS pipes or non hygroscopic ceramic tubes.
Heavy duty rotary switches or MCB's are provided to Increase or decrease the resistance in steps.
Heavy duty insulated types terminals are provided on the front panel will also having necessary fuses
and which also serve as input/output terminals.
The unit is housed in a well fabricated cubicle with necessary fins for ventilation, having castors wheels and
cooling fan.
